A more aggressive palette defines Moreland’s latest works

Recent works by Baton Rouge artist Robert Moreland will be on display at David Baird’s PlusOne Gallery, 2241 Christian St., formerly Baird Studio. The Saturday, March 8 reception marks the resurgence of Moreland’s work as well as this unique gallery space. Moreland, a self-taught artist, has been featured in Dwell magazine and 225, and his work can be found in collections from London to New York. Works in his latest series will be on display at PlusOne through March 31. The opening reception begins at 6 p.m.
