A ‘Mame’ to remember

Join the Baton Rouge Little Theatre for a weekend of comedy and cocktails as they present a stage reading of the cult classic Auntie Mame, chronicling the adventures of a young orphan named Patrick who’s sent to live with his wealthy bohemian aunt, Mame Dennis. As the two grow up and grow closer together—then farther apart—both learn some valuable lessons about life, love, and making every moment count. This performance is a script reading, with each actor playing many parts and using gesture and dialogue—not props and wardrobe—to establish the scene. Friday through Sunday. Tickets are $30, and include a free drink. Find out more information at brlt.org.
