A Long birthday celebration

The recently reopened Blue Room at the historic Roosevelt Hotel is celebrating the 116th birthday of Huey Long this Friday, starting at 7 p.m. The three-course dinner (including red velvet birthday cake) will be accompanied by a special performance of The Kingfish, a one-man-show depicting the life and times of the state’s most famous—and infamous—politician. $185.
