A Joy-ful vision

The LSU School of Art will be hosting a new art show in the Shaw Center’s Glassell Gallery. The exhibition, Robert Joy: Rare Vision, depicts the imaginative, colorful drawings and paintings of the prolific Kansas-born Joy. The Shaw Center will host a free opening reception on Saturday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with Joy himself in attendance. And on the following Tuesday and Wednesday, the artist will be drawing live, creating new works for the exhibit. Runs through Oct. 4.
