A.J. Meek’s shoots the churches

A.J. Meek has been photographing Louisiana churches and synagogues, and will feature his latest work in Sacred Light: Photographs by A.J. Meek, the latest exhibit at Glassell Gallery inside the Shaw Center. The work will be featured in an upcoming book from University Press of Mississippi, also titled Sacred Light. An opening reception featuring the artist, teacher and writer is Saturday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Color print by A.J. Meek, Blue Angel)
