A ‘Horse’ of course

It’s been a busy year for Steven Spielberg as the famous director follows mere days after 3D animated escapade The Adventures of Tintin with his epic, Europe-spanning WWI drama War Horse, in theaters now. When his beloved horse is sold into service with the English cavalry, Albert enlists and is sent into the deadly trench warfare raging across the continent in an effort to reunite with his equine friend. Focused more on the horse named Joey that any of the human characters, this is Spielberg’s unique spin on the first great war of the industrial age.
