6 Pack’s homecoming show Friday

Mixing brass and power chords, 6 Pack Deep has grown into a local monster band not defined by any one genre. This Baton Rouge band blends a little ska, reggae, hip-hop and rock for its first full-length Wake Up. In the midst of an unending tour, the band stops for a July Fourth show at the Varsity Theatre with Slang Angus and Here Is Why opening. $6 in advance; $8 at the door.
