Quick look: Tigers in the NFL

LSU boasted a league-leading 40 players featured on NFL Week One rosters at the start of last season, and with five more former Tigers taken in this year’s NFL Draft, that number looks to remain among the best in the country.

Quantity and quality: NFL.com posts its annual Top 100 Players for the upcoming season, as voted upon by the players in the league. LSU came in at No. 2 with five players cracking the top 100, led by Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who was listed as the 10th best player in the NFL.

The longest tenured LSU Tiger is Philadelphia Eagles punter Donnie Jones, who will be entering his 13th season in the league this fall.
