LaFASA hosts Cocktails for a Cause at the River Room

The Louisiana Foundation Against Sexual Assault is hosting Cocktails for a Cause Thursday, Dec. 10, 6-8 p.m.

The event is at the River Room downtown, and tickets are $10. Ticket holders will receive access to a special drink menu, including discounts on signature River Room cocktails. All proceeds benefit the LaFASA.

1010 Nic hosts holiday festivities

Enjoy food trucks, signature holiday cocktails and live festive music at 1010 Nic‘s holiday soiree, Thursday, Dec. 10.

Each tenant in the multi-use retail center will serve its own signature holiday cocktail, including a Wassail, holiday white wine sangria and a holiday mule. Food from Dat’z Italian Authentic Wood-Fired Pizza will be available, and there will be live music.

The event is 5-9 p.m. and admission is free. 1010 Nic is at 1010 Nicholson Drive.

Your Mom’s Restaurant and Bar celebrates grand opening

After nearly two months in a soft opening phase, Your Mom’s Restaurant and Bar celebrated its grand opening Tuesday, Dec. 8.

The Hammond-based restaurant will have happy hour from 2-6 p.m., which features two-for-one draft beers and handcrafted cocktails. The restaurant’s full menu will now be available.

Your Mom’s Restaurant and Bar is at 250 W. Lee Drive.
