Chris Pratt visits Our Lady of the Lake

Actor Chris Pratt took time out from his shooting schedule to visit children and patients at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital in late June.

Pratt is currently in Baton Rouge filming the remake of The Magnificent Seven with a cast that includes Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke.

During his visit, Pratt taught patients how to train raptors, a move Pratt perfected in this summer’s blockbuster Jurassic World. He also gave out goodies and visited with the staff.

When the local hospital shared photos of Pratt’s visit on its social media pages, the posts garnered hundreds of likes and shares.

Our Lady of Lake CEO Scott Wester says the kids, families and hospital employees appreciated Pratt’s visit.
