City Pork Deli & Charcuterie will sling handmade bratwurst this Thursday at Tin Roof‘s tap room during the brewery’s weekly trivia night.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. This week’s featured item incorporates local ingredients and will be available for $8.

The brat is poached in Tin Roof Voodoo Bengal from a single small batch that was designed by City Pork’s charcutier Roger Peterson. The brats will be served on a pretzel bun, handcrafted by local bread artisan Jim Osbourne of Wetzel Bakery, and with sides of German potato salad and sauerkraut.

In a press release, Osbourne says the bun, or Laugenbrot, is a “true Swabian-style German rye pretzel, handmade with Tin Roof’s Parade Ground Coffee Porter.”
