Heads up: Alexander’s hosts B.R. Cohn wine dinner

Alexander’s Highland Market will host a six-course wine dinner Wednesday, May 13, at 7 p.m. An hors d’oeuvres reception kicks off the evening at 6:40 p.m.
The event takes place inside the grocery store’s café, which will be transformed for the evening. Tickets are $75 and may be purchased at the customer service desk or by calling 615-7800.
The dinner spotlights selections from Sonoma Valley’s B.R. Cohn Winery and features local delicacies.

Dishes include a Louisiana coconut-fried alligator with Crystal hot sauce and pineapple chutney and Abita Root Beer-braised Hollywood Farms beef short ribs. The wines that will be paired with the food include a Silver Label cabernet, California riesling and Gold Label cabernet.
