Heads up: CrawFête announces date, participating restaurants

Baton Rouge Epicurean Society’s gourmet crawfish tasting and auction is right around the corner.

The annual CrawFête takes place Thursday, April 16, 6 p.m.-9 p.m. at Mockler Beverage Company, 11811 Reiger Road. Tickets are $50.

The event includes 15 area chefs preparing dishes complemented with craft beers, wines and spirits as well as live entertainment and an auction. Toward the end of the evening, one chef will be honored with the People’s Choice Award.
