Since opening in 2013, Lock & Key Whiskey Bar has quickly established itself as the go-to bar in Baton Rouge for a great cocktail. Now, it’s giving its customers a little something extra with a catered small-plates menu from Erick Coughlin of Truly Free Bakery.

The menu features:

  • Lobster ceviche with cucumber medallions with tarragon aioli
  • Trio of hummus—classic, red roasted pepper and artichoke—with organic pita chips
  • Chicken salad dip with chips, coupled with slivered almonds and grapes
  • Smoked salmon trio, served with a basil lime cream cheese on sourdough chips
  • Meat and cheese plate, featuring Genoa salami, hard salami, Capocolla, Proscuitto and a variety of aged cheeses

Lock & Key co-owner Arthur Lauck says the menu was added recently to give customers an added level of comfort.

“When we originally opened, we always thought about doing something with food, but we didn’t want to rush something out,” Lauck says. “We wanted something to match our drink menu and the feel of the bar. So far, we’ve had a fantastic response. The food adds another element to Lock & Key.”

The small plates range in price from $8-$14. For more information on Lock & Key, click here.
