Two Winn-Dixie stores unveil new looks and offerings
Winn-Dixie is celebrating the grand openings of two newly remodeled stores, one in Baton Rouge at 13002 Coursey Blvd. and the other in Prairieville at 17682 Airline Highway, where the celebration takes place Friday, Nov. 21. Renovations at the locations include new deli departments, enhanced bakeries, new lobster tanks, expanded in-store liquor sections, refreshed decor and new flooring. Both stores also now offer quick grab-and-go options, including a hot bar area with custom-made subs and wraps, chicken wings, barbecue chicken and fresh sushi. As part of the grand opening at the Coursey location earlier this week, Winn-Dixie also gave $55,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations in the greater Baton Rouge area.
