On Trend: Save on Swimwear
I have a love/hate relationship with swimsuits. Don’t we all? Let’s move past the trying-on process—because no one likes that—and skip to the part when you find the perfect suit: It fits great, it’s new and colorful, and you can’t wait to show it off all summer. The down side: its 60-80 dollars … for each piece. Well, there’s goes the swimsuit budget.
Fortunately, the big trend on swimwear this summer is mix-and-match tops and bottoms. So go ahead and splurge on that designer patterned number. But once you do that, stop by Target or Marshalls and try on some cheaper solids that you can interchange with patterns! This way, you’re saving money and giving yourself plenty of options.

Love the sun but hate the burn? Besides investing in some really powerful sunscreen, try finding your perfect Large Hat. I found mine at Target years ago, and it is my best friend at the beach.
Another way to block the sun is by ditching the sarong and finding a flowy kimono. You can show off your swimsuit, block your shoulders from the sun and wear it over basically anything. Don’t splurge on this though. A cheap one works just fine!
If you ask me: Buy some swimsuits at the end of the summer. Hit the sales hard! You’ll have a wait a year to show them off, but when summer comes, you will have brand new swimsuits for half the price.
