A founding member of The Byrds and Flying Burrito Brothers comes to the Capital City for a special performance. Singer-songwriter Chris Hillman performs at Manship Theatre Friday at 7:30 p.m. as part of Red Dragon’s Songwriter Series. Tickets start at $59. Herb Pedersen joins Hillman on stage. Both songwriters have extensive country and bluegrass backgrounds. Hillman’s credits include co-writing The Byrds’ hit “So You Want to be a Rock ‘n’ Roll Star” and The Desert Rose Band’s “I Still Believe in You.” Read Jeff Roedel’s interview with Hillman.
