Escape the sweltering Louisiana heat at Baton Rouge Zoo’s Frozen Safari this Saturday. During the zoo’s regular hours, of 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m., zoo workers will show visitors how animals are kept in shape and taken care of during the summer. The first 100 visitors to the zoo will be rewarded with a coupon for a free frozen treat at the Cool Critter Café inside the zoo.
