Sing along with ‘Jersey Boys’ – Clint Eastwood returns to the director’s chair for a silver screen adaptation of a Broadway smash.
Clint Eastwood returns to the director’s chair for a silver screen adaptation of a Broadway smash. Jersey Boys hits theaters Friday and tells the story of four men who became the iconic ’60s rock group The Four Seasons. The same four actors who played members of the band on stage appear on screen, including John Lloyd Young, who is reprising his role as band leader Frankie Valli. Christopher Walken co-stars as mobster Angelo DeCarlo. This is Eastwood’s first film back as director since 2011’s J. Edgar. Though that film was received with mixed reviews, the 84-year-old Oscar winner has been on a bit of a roll since 2003’s Mystic River. He has almost completed work on 2015’s American Sniper, starring Bradley Cooper. Rated R. View the trailer below.
