More than 10 bands head downtown for the fourth annual Radiopalooza festival this weekend. The local music showcase kicks off Saturday at 3 p.m. at North Boulevard’s Town Square with a performance from Jason Martin. Following him is the funk/jazz band Captain Green at 4 p.m.; a songwriter showcase with Ryan Harris, Denton Hatcher, Jodi James, Clay Parker and Eric Schmitt at 5 p.m.; Pacifico at 6 p.m.; Speakeasy at 7 p.m.; Liam Catchings and the Jolly Racket at 8 p.m.; and The Michael Foster Project at 9 p.m. WHYR 96.9 FM Baton Rouge Community Radio hosts the free event.
