Mogwai, a Scottish band that specializes in fuzzed-out crescendos and soundscapes, released its first album in 1997, the critically-acclaimed Young Team. In 2003, the group released Happy Songs for Happy People, which peaked in the U.S. Billboard Top 200 album charts.
