Green Bean Café 4863 Revere Ave.) hosts instaBeerTography Friday at 7 p.m. Participants are allowed to bring a four or six-pack of craft beer they want to try, and photographers will show off their best beer photos. The event will feature three presentations on topics such as beer tasting and photography.

The Botanic Gardens at the Burden Center (4560 Essen Lane) hosts Brush with Burden Nature Art Exhibit through Sunday. The multimedia exhibition is inspired by Louisiana’s natural beauty and is open to the public in the Orangerie 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on weekdays and 1 p.m.-4 p.m. on Sundays.
