‘225’: Spice up the menu with a hearty stew
This winter has been so cold and wet that it seems the season will never end. The best thing during these freezing times is a hearty stew.
In the latest issue of 225, Tracey Koch and Stephanie Riegel have an updated twist on Moroccan Beef Stew for their monthly “Dining In” feature.
“Essential to this stew recipe is a homemade beef stock,” they write. “Making a homemade stock may seem like a ridiculous waste of time … However, anyone who is serious about cooking has to try his or her hand at a homemade stock at least once.”
