Try cocktails featuring local liquors at LSU Museum of Art

The LSU Museum of Art hosts Donner-Peltier Distillers for an evening of spirit tastings and hors d’oeuvres pairings at 6 p.m. tonight. LSU alumni and Donner-Peltier Distillers owners Beth Dantin Donner and Henry Peltier will discuss the basic process of small-batch liquor production and the Louisiana-grown ingredients used in their products—Oryza vodka and gin, LA 1 whiskey and Rougaroux rum. Unique antique barware from the museum’s permanent collection will also be showcased. Tickets for the event are $40 for museum members and $45 for non-members. The event is for ages 21 and older.
