Jasmine’s on the Bayou highlights new menu items

The Cajun-style seafood and family restaurant Jasmine’s on the Bayou has made some changes to its menu to ring in the New Year. The restaurant (6010 Jones Creek Rd. #A) added new sandwiches, burgers, appetizers and entrée options about a month ago.

On the sandwich side, Jasmine’s has upped its game with The Sebastian, which features a crab cake topped with grilled shrimp, sautéed peppers, onions and melted Mozzarella.

A debris po-boy made from the restaurant’s fork-tender pot roast, a Tiger Burger with grilled shrimp and smoked sausage, and a Rocket Burger topped with spicy fried shrimp and jalapenos have also been put on the menu.

A slow-cooked pot roast on a bed of linguine as well as a grilled chicken breast with crawfish tasso cream sauce are also among the new items.

For dessert, Jasmine’s is now making cookie dough spring rolls regularly.
