Honor the memory of Pearl Harbor aboard the U.S.S. Kidd
This Saturday marks the 62nd anniversary of the day that still lives in infamy: the 1941 Pearl Harbor attacks that killed 2,400 Americans and pushed the United States to finally join in World War II. One of the victims of that fateful attack was none other than Rear Admiral Isaac S. Kidd, the namesake of Baton Rouge’s own U.S.S. Kidd. In honor of all the men who lost their lives and the history made that day, the U.S.S. Kidd will host a memorial aboard the ship at 11:55 a.m. Saturday. Click here for more information.
