Need help this Thanksgiving? – Here are a few options from local restaurants

If you’re trapped this Thanksgiving and not sure what to do about the big meal, or maybe you just fear that you’ll burn everything you try to cook, don’t worry.

Local restaurants are offering special to-go menus and catering options for those looking for quick options for the holiday.

Frank’s Restaurant offers catering choices including a fried or smoked turkey for $39.95 as well as ham and turkey dinners with sides, rolls and a pie. Frank’s also offers turduckens, fruit and cheese trays and vegetable trays. Check out the full menu here or call 673-8876.

Galatoire’s Bistro (Map it!) is offering a holiday to-go menu that features traditional soups, sides and desserts. The menu includes turtle soup, duck and andouille gumbo, creamed spinach, potatoes au gratin, sweet potato casserole, green bean amandine, chocolate pecan pie and bread pudding.

The soups are available for purchase by the gallon—$110 for turtle, $120 for gumbo—and side dishes and desserts serve up to eight, priced at $45 and up. Holiday orders will be taken until 4 p.m. today, and final orders should be picked up no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday. For more details, call 753-4864.

TJ Ribs’ is also offering a smoked turkey dinner that includes a 12-to-14-pound turkey, cornbread dressing, your choice of any two side items and one dozen rolls for $49.95. For more information and options, click here or call 291-8100.

Maxwell’s Market has a holiday special with a whole turkey, cornbread dressing, cranberry, rolls, green bean casserole, two pints of turkey gravy, pumpkin and pecan pie for $135.
