Katniss Everdeen returns in the most anticipated sequel of the year, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, this Friday. The second film in the latest hit young-adult franchise sees Jennifer Lawrence returning as Everdeen after winning the 74th annual Hunger Games. Once the victory is over, Everdeen must embark on a Victor’s Tour of the districts. If you’re a fan of the books, you’ll no doubt know what all of this means and will be one of millions in line for a ticket to Catching Fire. Those still cynical might need some critical reassurance, and critics have been kind to the sequel so far, calling Catching Fire an improvement over the original. Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend, Constantine) takes over the director’s chair, in place of Gary Ross. The film also has a stellar supporting cast including Philip Seymour Hoffman, Woody Harrelson, Toby Jones, Mia Wasikowska and Elizabeth Banks. Rated PG-13. Check out the trailer below.
