Abita Andygator wins silver in Great American Beer Festival

Abita Brewing Company’s Andygator was the only Louisiana beer that placed in this past weekend’s Great American Beer Festival in Denver. Out of 28 entries, Andygator won the silver medal in the bock category. The goal of the festival’s judges is to indentify the three beers that best represent each beer style category. The panel then awards gold, silver or bronze to beers that are viewed as symbols of brewing excellence. The awards are some of the most coveted in the industry.
