Paddle before you paint at University Lake

The shores of University Lake will be a bit more colorful this Saturday thanks to Baton Rouge Gallery. The Gallery’s Plein Air Painting and Paddling combines a morning paddleboat session followed by a painting session—participants are given the opportunity to create watercolors inspired by their excursions. “Plein air” painting refers to the French expression used to describe painting outdoors—in this case, at BREC’s Milford Wampold Memorial Park.
