Uncommon Thread returns to Baton Rouge this Saturday, offering a national competition and runway show of wearable art. Music collaborations, modern dance and more accompany the captivating presentation. Anthony Ryan Auld of Project Runway is this year’s juror, and he will be given the tough task of selecting this year’s best design, which will receive $1,000. The show takes place at the LSU Museum of Art at 8 p.m. An after party will take place in Glassell Gallery with treats from Cake Chemistry, Brew Ha Ha, Hello Sushi and Red Zeppelin Pizza. Tickets for the show are $15 in advance and $20 at the door; tickets for both the show and after party are $30. For more information, click here.
