Visit the farthest corners of the world at the zoo

Get up close and personal to animals at BREC’s Baton Rouge Zoo’s Wildlife Safari Amphitheatre Shows. No passport is needed for these live shows, which allow visitors to travel across the globe, witnessing animals in their natural habitats such as owls, alligators, millipedes and pythons. During the tour, a zoo educator will tell you about each of the furry creatures and answer questions after the show. Shows take place every Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine, at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. For more information, call 775-3877.
