Baton Rouge’s Family Dinner Comedy Troupe brings their improv stylings to the Manship Theatre stage Thursday night for Spoof Night featuring the awesomely terrible Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. With a 36% rating from Rotten Tomatoes and a ton of early ’90s nostalgia, TMNT II gives the troupe plenty of material for their act, which includes color commentary, audience participation and good ol’ improv. Drink specials promise to help you raise some shell while you uncover what secrets lie in Ooze. The Ninja Turtles show kicks off at 7 p.m. and tickets are $10—cheaper than the price of delivering pizza to your sewer hideout. This event is not recommended for children.
