Your theme song: “Summertime Clothes” by Animal Collective. Anything these guys make will get me going.
Favorite blog: Macrumors.com. I check this site more than I care to admit.
Best place to meet up with friends: It’s hard to go wrong with Radio Bar or the lounge at Hotel Indigo—when Ken is working.
Who inspires you the most: This answer probably changes every six months. Currently, I have a tremendous amount of respect for what James Franco is doing. It’s very encouraging to see his motivation for creating artworks. I find that meaningful and of value. Check out his latest, Psycho Nacirema.
Clothing you can’t do without: I have a Vince leather hoodie that makes the world go round for me. I can feel like Indiana Jones or A$AP Rocky when necessary.
The best dish you can cook yourself: My dad taught me how to make his seafood jambalaya. However, mine is still never quite as good as his.
Coffee order: Medium roast with almond milk and Stevia.
Ice cream flavor: Blue Bell Neapolitan is my all-time favorite. You can’t go wrong with all three flavors together.
Who is the most famous person you’ve met? Rachel McAdams. I was working at Apple at the time. I can’t say that I didn’t embarrass myself trying to talk to her.
Ideal lunch date: Saturday lunch at Albasha and a movie with friends.
Best meal from the past week: The pecan smoked brisket plate from Zeeland Street Market.
What is always in your fridge: Almond milk and hummus.
Favorite fictional character: Very hard to choose one, but the most prominent would be “The Man With No Name” via Clint Eastwood. He’s a mysterious outlaw/gunslinger with a sordid past. The way these movies were filmed really brings out the redeeming qualities of such a character.
Baton Rouge needs: Bike-friendly travel and Google Fiber. There are a thousand ways to expand on these topics. Let’s just make it happen. Only good things for B.R. would come from them.
