Hey bub, The Wolverine is back – Comic book fans have been waiting a long time for a good Wolverine movie.
Comic book fans have been waiting a long time for a good Wolverine movie. Since Hugh Jackman brought the famous Marvel character to life in 2000’s X-Men, he’s repeatedly chewed the screen (and cigars) as the mutant with an attitude and adamantium claws. However, Jackman’s Wolverine has never had a huge chance to shine—2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine was laughable at best. This weekend, fans are hoping The Wolverine will be a step in the right direction. Director James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma and Walk the Line) took over for Darren Aronofsky, who left production a few years ago. Also a plus, the script was plucked from a storyline by geek-approved writers Chris Claremont and Frank Miller. Rated PG-13. Check out the trailer below.
