Baton Rouge's #1 lifestyle magazine since 2005

She really LIKED us

On May 8, 225‘s Facebook page topped 10,000 “Likes.” Meet the reader who hit that mark: 22-year-old Indianapolis native Hannah Taylor. Less than two weeks after this Facebook “life event,” Taylor graduated from LSU with a degree in mass communication. In thanks, we gave Taylor an ultra-rare 12-month subscription to the magazine—but first, we asked her a few questions.

I have to admit that I was pretty excited. I’ve never won anything. It was a nice little surprise during finals week. Also, I really enjoy the magazine, so getting it sent to my house is awesome.

I had no idea. That’s what made it even funnier. I was invited to Like the page and just happened to Like it while taking a quick study break.

I’m pretty all over the place with music. I love to run and listen to my iPod, and nothing gets me going like a classic rap song. Old-school hip hop is my guilty pleasure.

Well, 90s Hip Hop Radio is my favorite Pandora station, and that plays a lot of Tupac and Biggie. Tupac helps me out on those hot days when I’m running outside.

I love it. Living right by University Lake makes it easy. Running is therapeutic. It’s nice to have that time to myself and just relieve some stress.

Is it lame to say an NBA player that I have a huge crush on?

Ha, all right! Well, then, I would love to run with Kyle Korver from the Atlanta Hawks. I’m a huge basketball fan, so I think it would awesome to be able to talk to him about that. Also, he’s in great shape, so I’m sure he could help me out. The fact that he’s really cute wouldn’t hurt either.
