Youth Ballet tackles Shakespeare – Perhaps one of William Shakespeare’s greatest comedies, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, comes to Baton Rouge via ballet.

Perhaps one of William Shakespeare’s greatest comedies, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, comes to Baton Rouge via ballet. Since it debuted in the late 16th century, the bard’s comedy of errors has enjoyed a life here, there and everywhere. Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre’s Youth Ballet is performing the classic tale across the area throughout June. Most performances are free and open to the public. A fundraising performance at The Dancers’ Workshop (Map it!) takes place this Saturday at 1 p.m. Tickets for this performance are $10 for adults and $5 for children.
