New video shows off Louisiana’s craft breweries – 225 contributor Jay Ducote teams up with filmmakers to shine a light on Louisiana’s beer makers

225 contributor and chef Jay Ducote has teamed up with filmmakers Tommy Talley and Daniel Jones, and the Louisiana Office of Tourism to present a look at the state’s craft breweries.

The video features Covington Brewhouse, Tin Roof Beer, Parish Beer, Chafunkta Brewing Co., Abita, Bayou Teche Biere and Nola Brewing Co. In the video, all the brewmasters show off their specialty and house beers while making a case for why are an important part of the state culture.

“The state of Louisiana is probably experiencing one of the most exciting growths of craft beer in the nation,” Parish Brewing’s owner and brewmaster Andrew Godley says in the video. Check out the video below and keep up with Ducote’s blog on 225 here.
