Make your own Bluth-inspired treat

After a long hiatus, the television show that garnered a cult following was brought back from the dead on Netflix, where season four debuted Sunday. Knowing that fans will probably watch the latest tales of the Bluth family two, three, or a hundred times, 225 Dine has prepared a classic recipe for your viewing parties—the frozen banana.

1. Slice bananas in half and carefully mount on popsicle sticks. Place bananas on a tray, plate or baking dish in the freezer for two hours or until firm. You can freeze them overnight. Do not cover bananas as this will cause ice crystals to form.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together melted chocolate and coconut oil until thoroughly combined. Place nuts in a wide, shallow plate or pie plate.
3. Remove bananas from freezer. Gently brush off ice crystals if any have formed. Dip banana in chocolate and swirl to cover. You can use a spoon to help cover the banana evenly.
4. Roll bananas in chopped nuts. Let cool for one minute, then place on a serving platter. If you don’t serve the bananas immediately, return them to the freezer. If serving from freezer, place on plate and allow them to thaw for 10 minutes before serving.
