Learn to cook international cuisines at LCI this summer
The Louisiana Culinary Institute isn’t just for would-be chefs—it’s also for anyone interested in honing their personal cooking skills. LCI’s year-round leisure courses are professionally taught one-day seminars that take place in a state-of-the-art classroom at the Airline Highway campus. This summer, LCI presents the Regional International Continental Cuisine Cooking Series, which teaches home cooks to prepare everything from Japanese noodles to Bavarian cream. The series unfolds Saturdays during June and July and includes instruction on the cuisines of Old World Europe, western and northern Africa, India and the Caribbean. Other courses offered this summer at LCI include basic tiered cakes and low-country cooking. For more information on the courses, visit lci.edu.
