Belle Journal release party at Baton Rouge Gallery Thursday

Belle Journal, a new literary journal for the “Modern Southern Belle,” will celebrate the release of its first volume Thursday night with a free reception at Baton Rouge Gallery, 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m. The reception will include free wine and hors d’oeuvres as well as live music from Memes and The Shiz. The party will continue at Chelsea’s Café at 10 p.m. with another free reception that includes music from Matsy, M.S. Dos, Tiny Archibald, Gabe Saint, and Ganzfeld.
