Horse racing, food and drinks at Triple Crown Saturday

Watch the Kentucky Derby in style at Juban’s (Map it!) Saturday at the Junior League of Baton Rouge’s Triple Crown event. This fundraiser for the Junior League features live music, free cigars, bourbon tasting, casino games and more while the big horse races are screened.

Juban’s has created a custom “derby” menu for the event, including hot crab and Boursin cheese dip with French bread croustades, Kentucky Burgoo—a traditional Kentucky Derby stew made with beef and chicken served over garlic cheese grits—derby pie tartlets, and much more. The event is 4 p.m.-8 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased here.
