Taming of the Shrew at Manship

Friday, the critically acclaimed New York-based Aquila Theatre comes to the Manship Theatre to stage a fresh production of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew. Set in the idyllic town of Padua, this comedy tells the story of the timeless battle of the sexes between Katherina and her bethrothed, Petruchio. With the romantic fate of Katherina’s younger sister Bianca hanging in the balance, Petruchio and Katherina lock horns with acerbic wit and double entendres. 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $40 at manshiptheatre.org.
