Lady Tigers continue partnership with food bank

Roar of support: Following Tuesday’s practice, LSU women’s basketball head coach Nikki Caldwell took her Lady Tigers team to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank where they spent an hour packaging food for underprivileged children. The squad formed an assembly line and packaged more than 625 meals from food collected during the Christmas holiday. Since Caldwell’s arrival, the Lady Tigers routinely visit the Baton Rouge Food Bank and give back to the community. In January 2012, LSU women’s basketball was named “Organization of the Month” by the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.
