Red Stick Market celebrates 16 years this Saturday

Happy B-day BREADA: This Saturday, BREADA will celebrate the 16th anniversary of Red Stick Farmers Market as Main Street Market also commemorates 10 years in downtown Baton Rouge. The morning will begin with a harvest blessing by Rev. Mark Holland of St. James Episcopal Church at 7:45 a.m. and the ringing of the market opening bell. There will be a cake cutting at the market hospitality booth at 9:30 a.m. Market shoppers will enjoy fun activities throughout the morning including music by the John Gray Jazz Trio and face painting by Liz Lopes.
