Street party with jambalaya

Downtown will rock Thursday as Capital Area United Way celebrates its 25th annual Jambalaya Jam. A three-band lineup will wow the crowd, and guests can sample jambalaya from more than 40 competing teams. It all happens at the intersection of Third and Main streets, 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Can’t stay for all the fun? Swing by for Jam to-go, via a $7 ticket that lets you pack a to-go box with as much jambalaya as you can fit. Get all the information at cauw.org/jam.
