Premium Rush (in theaters Friday)

Most have noticed them weaving in and out of big city traffic and wondered, “How do they do it?” This Friday, a new crime thriller ups the ante on a skilled bike messenger with Premium Rush. Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as a swift, daredevil cyclist—fixed gear, no breaks, he boasts—whose self-assured life is turned upside down when he picks up a mysterious package that is particularly valuable to a corrupt New York City cop.

Chased across the busy streets of Manhattan, the messenger must stay alive long enough to figure out who the package belongs to and how to get out of the mess he now finds himself in.
