Mixture benefit for BR Walls

Friday, Aug. 17, Forum 35’s Cultural Diversity Initiative holds a unique event at the Lyceum Dean Ballroom downtown. The evening features an avant-garde design competition, local artist TJ Black painting live, an amazing fashion show, break-dancers and the ever-talented DJ OttO spinning tunes until midnight. Proceeds from the event will go to fund the BR Walls project, which aims to cover downtown’s blank buildings in beautiful murals. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $30 for VIP, which includes runway seating and a reserved spot in the catered lounge section. Click here for more information. 8 p.m.-midnight.
