The Watch (in theatres July 27)

There goes the neighborhood. When bored suburban dads with too much time on their hands form a bungling team of neighborhood watchmen, shenanigans and chaos ensue in this Friday’s comedy The Watch. The first feature film directed by The Lonely Island writer and Saturday Night Live veteran Akiva Shaffer stars two of the biggest comedy icons of the past decade with Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughn on board.
When Stiller’s busy-bodied everyman, Evan, corals a few misfit neighbors into deputizing themselves in the name of safety and security, he gets more than he bargained for—a lot more. The illegal aliens in his ‘hood aren’t exactly of the human variety, and when giant green invaders turn up, Stiller’s crew just might be the only men capable of saving the block.
Superbad’s Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade, the indie cred magnet of The Mighty Boosh and director of the Stiller-produced Submarine, co-star, along with Will Forte and Rosemarie DeWitt. Rated R. Watch the trailer below:
