Superfest in Death Valley – This weekend, thousands of cheering fans will flood Tiger Stadium

This weekend, thousands of cheering fans will flood Tiger Stadium, but instead of memorable first-down chants or the Tiger Band blaring “Hey Fightin’ Tigers,” some of the biggest names in modern country music will blast their biggest hits. The third-annual Bayou Country Superfest returns to Baton Rouge this Saturday and Sunday, featuring 10 of the genre’s powerhouses, including Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood. Along with the music, festival organizers are encouraging some out-of-season LSU tailgating. While theatrics and noise fill Death Valley, the parking lots surrounding the stadium will be filled with ancillary events, food and music. Deejays and staff from area radio stations WYPY, WYNK and KCIL will be playing games and giving away prizes, while fans will get the chance to meet their favorite artists in a Meet & Greet area. Single-day and weekend tickets are now available through Ticketmaster for a wide selection of field- and stadium-level seats. Stadium seating starts at $50, while field-area tickets start at $85. bayoucountrysuperfest.com
